How does the permanent GUID tracking work when someone renames? +

In World of Warcraft, every character has an immutable GUID (Globally Unique Identifier) assigned by Blizzard's servers that never changes, even if the player pays for a name change, race change, faction change, or transfers realms. PBL captures this GUID and automatically updates their entry in your database whenever you encounter them.
